Beth Hart is a Los Angeles native and blues-singing, rock vocalist. She performed on the streets and made her debut with Immortal in 1995. Her raw, outspoken charisma, musicality and emotional live shows attracted attention. Chuck Taylor wrote that Hart was "the epitome for natural females" in the October 2nd issue of Billboard magazine. She is "bawdy hilarious, charming, jovial, and free-wheeling with her choice to spiced languages. This isn't her true talent. She's an elegant, tall singer/songwriter who dances and sings with the vim and energy of Mick Jagger . Other times she sits on the piano or at the on stage, without appearance of pretense. The legs of her are crossed on the sides of a chair and she talks in a delicate, pained voice. Hart was subject to similar reactions from the moment she took to the stage for amateur competitions as a teenager. However, Hart had doubts about the music business when it finally became an international success. Hart was forced to leave her band after it was unsuccessful touring all over the world. Hart then spent nearly four years searching for answers and working out problems with music writing. Then, ready to give her career a second chance, she returned in 1999 with the critically-acclaimed Screamin' for My Supper The album was a culmination of Hart's songwriting abilities through honest, vulnerable tunes about facing life's issues.
