Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered to be one of the top athletes. Biles was the first female gymnast from America to ever win four gold medals at a single Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to have won consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles, along with her sister Adria Biles and Ronald Biles were adopted as children by the grandparents from Houston. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started when she was just six years old when she took a trip with her day care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained in the hands of Aimee Borman's guidance until 2011. Biles took home a gold medal for the floor and bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the elite level of gymnastics in the year 2011. In just two short years, she had become the top athlete in her field. Biles was notable for her consistency in performance, vivacious personality as well as the difficulty she encountered across each of the four events: vault, uneven bars and the balance beam.
