Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and advocate for animal rights in America. Ali MacGraw is well-known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The daughter of a family of artists in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of arts. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. Her first two movies she received recognition as a winner of her the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international hit, earning the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. With just three releases she was voted the Top female debut at the box office around the globe. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers came out. MacGraw was married three times.
